If you're ever in the charming town of Tiradentes, in the heart of Minas Gerais, there's one spot that should not be missed: Ateliê Gastronomico. Located on R. Henrique Diniz, 133 in the Centro neighborhood, this restaurant is more than just a place to grab a meal; it’s a destination that offers a truly immersive culinary experience.

Ateliê Gastronomico has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike, known for its unique approach to modern Brazilian cuisine. The cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere welcomes you as soon as you step inside, with its rustic décor and intimate setting that immediately makes you feel at home. Whether you’re here for a casual lunch or a special dinner, the vibe is always warm, inviting, and full of character.

What makes Ateliê Gastronomico stand out is not just its menu but also the passion that the chefs pour into every dish. The restaurant prides itself on creating a menu that marries traditional Brazilian flavors with contemporary twists. The result? Bold, fresh flavors that surprise and delight with every bite. From appetizers to main courses, each dish is crafted with the finest locally sourced ingredients, many of which come from the surrounding farms and markets. This commitment to quality is evident in every plate.

One of the standout dishes is their "moqueca," a traditional Brazilian fish stew. The version served at Ateliê Gastronomico is a masterpiece, with tender fish cooked in a flavorful coconut broth that is rich without being overwhelming. It's the perfect combination of comfort and sophistication. Another must-try is the “feijão tropeiro,” a Minas Gerais classic. Ateliê Gastronomico elevates this beloved dish by using artisanal ingredients, creating a comforting yet refined version of a regional favorite.

The restaurant doesn’t just focus on savory dishes, though. The dessert menu is a treat in itself. The "pé de moleque"-a Brazilian peanut candy-here is a twist on the traditional, made with a touch of chocolate and a sprinkle of sea salt. It’s an indulgent way to end a meal and pairs perfectly with a cup of strong Brazilian coffee.

Service at Ateliê Gastronomico is always attentive and knowledgeable. The staff is more than happy to explain the origins of each dish, offering helpful recommendations based on your taste preferences. It’s this level of attention to detail that sets Ateliê Gastronomico apart, making each visit feel like a personal experience rather than just another dinner out.

While Ateliê Gastronomico has earned a stellar reputation, it’s important to note that it isn’t the kind of place where you can simply walk in and expect to get a table, especially on weekends. Reservations are highly recommended, as this hidden gem has become quite popular among food lovers. It’s not just about the food; it’s the entire experience of dining in a space that feels like it has been thoughtfully curated to create lasting memories.

E a decoração é lindíssima. Voltaremos na nossa próxima visita a cidade.
